cheer, click, thanks and pray

Cheer!: Please welcome Paige and Scott's new baby boy Severin. Paige has been a faithful reader and support for me since the early days of my grief journey. I'm so pleased her "Buggy" has arrived safe and healthy. This week she will also honor the birthday of her first son Cayden, who passed away last January. So, we think with love of two little boys.

Click: The wonderful Angie has dedicated herself to a community art blog for babylost parents. She is posting new submissions every day of 2010 at stilllife365. My poem, Tarot, is posted there today. Thank you, Angie!

Thanks: Another big thank you to Ines who has included me and my Angel in her own "creative everyday" project, daily forward tumble. Lovely little footprint! We're so honored you thought of us.

Pray: If you are the praying kind, please pray for Haiti. Pray that Someone's hand would be on the people of that country in the coming days, weeks, and months. If you are the donating kind, please donate. World Vision does very good work. But there are lots of charities to choose from.

The photos. I look at them and think: I know that look. But of course I totally don't. Grief is a strange thing - absolutely the same all over, yet totally personal and incomprehensible to others. In any case, thinking of all the mamas and dadas and little ones over there...

Lastly, thanks everybody for your responses to my Angel artwork questions! My beautiful sister is going to do the cross stitch for me, and I am researching other artists.

I like the way you organized your thoughts - lovely post. With you on the images coming from Haiti. Particularly sobering for us on the West Coast, sitting on fault lines. We're constantly told it's not a matter of if, but when. (((Hugs)))
