seven beauties

I received six beautiful gifts for my baby this Christmas.

Some very special needlepoint made by her Auntie Heather:

A remembrance rosebud ornament made by her Auntie Karen:

A shiny strawberry from her Nacky (my mom):

Angel hearts from Angie and from Sally:

And arriving perfectly on Christmas eve, this sweet little reindeer from Karen, my secret swapper in the Remembering Together ornament swap:

It was also a gift for me to be able to organize the Remembering Together swap. 105 ornaments were made (which is amazing, and sad, and wonderful). I put a handful of them together in a video here, and will post a few more photos at the Remembering Together site later this week.

Thank you to everyone who remembered us this Christmas by sending gifts or emails or FB notes. It has been a sad holiday for me, on the whole, but it helps enormously to have that sadness acknowledged and to have our little one remembered. I hope the holidays are passing calmly and with some bright spots for all of you out there as well.
